'I have known Karim as a friend and colleague for many years. I have enormous respect for his musicianship and it was a pleasure to work with him on his first concerto recording' - Domingo Hindoyan
'Very, very impressive' - Daniel Barenboim
An award-winning pianist, conductor, and composer, Karim is known for his deeply informed and creative programming. His passion for diverse programming is reflected in his critically acclaimed albums 'Echoes from an Empire’, ‘Legacy’ and his latest album on Rubicon Classics ‘Beethoven, Webern, Schoenberg, Mozart’ (2024). Karim has performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages, captivating audiences both as a solo pianist and chamber musician. This was made possible largely through his association with Daniel Barenboim, who first heard Karim perform at the age of ten, saying: ‘what you cannot learn, he already knows.’ His debut concerto release was with Domingo Hindoyan and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra on Rubicon Classics, in 2025.
